Many people have been asking and assuming my role in the adult industry recently. I attended an awards show this past week and I had to catch people up greatly. So, let me go ahead and clarify for those of you readers who are both old and new!
The past few years have been filled with writing, traveling, and conventions. However, just because I have taken a break from the public eye does not mean I have not been manifesting. I hope you all have been well and I get to meet more of you at upcoming conventions and events!
Tonight, I will be visiting a Webcam Studio, located here in Las Vegas, for the very first time. After attending the Adult Webcam Awards in January in Las Vegas, I realized the future of the adult industry is online. We must evolve with the times. Therefore, I must see what this growing niche in the adult industry is all about in person!
A big thank you to @SinCityVixens for the welcoming invitation!
Stay tuned on Twitter who knows what will happen!!!
The past few months have been filled with travels, but unlike usual this time I was not just traveling: I was moving. This means I have had no home for this time period(40 days may seem short, but it felt like a whole separate lifetime). People tend to forget the stress of not having the security of a home, real meals, and sleeping in your own bed. Especially, when they are used to you traveling often. People take for granted what they do not know is sacred until it is taken away. I went from having three homes in two different states to homelessness, half by design and half by life lessons and poor choices. And to top it all off, finances had absolutely no part in the equation.
Finally this past weekend, I moved into my own condo in Vegas. This is the first time I have lived alone since I stripped in small town Oregon. It is extremely ironic, after I disappear for over a year to recover from stripping, people still expect the actions of a stripper out of me. In actuality it is the complete opposite. I just want to write and cook casseroles in my pajamas with my puppy at home. I worked for years in small town Oregon from 10pm-2am almost every night to get to where I am today. People do not see the hard work I have put in to be where I am today and often they take my efforts in vain and/or for granted. No I do not want to go out at night to get drunk and talk to people because that feels like stripping with my clothes on. Who wants to work for free?!? I drank mostly to forget stripping and make it the most profitable experience as possible. Why do people who live ordinary lives expect people in the adult industry to not have the desire or need for a little ordinary too?

After scheduling my interview with DJ Lee at Hustler club here in Las Vegas, I found out Natasha Nova was in town(Miss Pole Champ USA 2015). It is amazing how the adult industry works and how even though we rarely stay in one place very long we still gravitate towards one another. I have communicated with Natasha Nova for almost a year(pre Miss Pole Champ USA) and have never actually met her in person. It is funny how many people within the adult industry we bond with before actually meeting. I have to say the thing that shocked me the most was how tiny she is. Yes, she is stronger than a lot of people, but her pictures do not give her cute petite little frame the credit it deserves. Natasha continues to realize the opportunities that have been presented to her and she grabs onto them wholeheartedly. Seeing her transition to fancy has been quite the adventure to watch. I can only imagine how she feels. However, I do know that she radiates tenacity and gratitude.
Dj, dancer, journalist, pole champ… in the adult industry we do not judge we stick together knowing we are the minority who people love to love and love to hate.
